Think Bowling for Soup…
Diana’s got it all.
She’s sexy and she’s brave.
But herself she can’t save.
Reagan-era politics; sidelined for same old tricks.
Lengthy battle scenes.
Looks cool, but what’s it mean?
It was supposed to be a marvel.
But it’s kind of a muddle.
Still fun to see Gal Gadot
And Kristen Wiig turn hot.
It’s high-concept, you see.
Like an 80s comedy.
But it’s that long third act.
That makes it. Feel. So wack!
Since the first film, was decent,
Was hoping this one would be to.
But it’s plagued by ideas,
So dense that it cannot stay true.
At least I can say that,
it really is never a bore.
It’s Wonder. Woman. 1984!
Starring: Gal Gadot, Kristen Wiig, Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielsen. Directed by: Patty Jenkins.
